Dear SSS
Wednesday, September 27th, 2006Well, dear SSS…
Had a nice conversation with you around 15 minutes ago. Twas nice.
Nakakagaan ng loob magpagaan ng loob ng iba.
In english — it uplifts one’s heart to uplift the heart of another.
As all religions say, we’re all one. To see with clarity is to see that underlying truth — the underlying oneness of all.
As some yummy ladies once said…
I need some love
like i’ve never needed love before
( … i suppose y’all know what the greek chorus sings here… )
i’ve had a little love
and now i’m back for more
( …ditto )
Oo, may koneksyon yang kantang yan. Two Become One.
Di ba?
There is great power in Song. The Sacred Samting often expresses itself in Song. In The Sacred Samting lies truth.
The Sacred Samting springs, of course, from a well of infinite love.
That is what I offer you, SSS. Unconditional love.
A love which forgives despite seeing with painful clarity.
A love from a heart which may at some point decide to walk away in sheer exasperation or self-preservation, but a love which shall forever remain nonetheless.
The evidence posted on this blog is proof enough of this. The esteem with which I continue to regard my ex-flames is self-evident in these blog entries. That I continue to love them is also apparent in these little capsules of personal history.
I don’t love any of my ex’s as I once did. I no longer see them as partners in romance but as comrades-in-arms in the constant struggle life often is. As people who helped shape who and what I am today. As people who’ve helped me learn much along the way. As khafhatids in Eternal KhaVhaggglaan.
Love changes form. But love remains forever.
Perhaps this is the difference between love and desire.
Love asks for nothing in return.
Love keeps on giving.
And love, as I so often say…
… is its own reward.
I’m still standing.
And forever shall I believe in love.
Thus barketh the dowggie.
